2 consecutive missed abortions within the same year (due 2 lack of cardiac flicker in early pregnancy)

	hi! i m facing a bit rare problem.... this is the end of 5th yr of our marriage, i m a mother of 3 yr old baby girl but now within a year i hv suffered frm 2 consecutive missed abortions within the 1st trimester (due 2 lack of cardiac activity) & consequently went through the medical process of D&E (1st time it was on 27-06-2009 & the 2nd surgery was on 19-03-2010)...but the last D&E was not so successfully performed thatz why doctor prescribed me tab.cytotec (for 3 nights-oral use) & thn tab.primulute-n (for 1wk)...but still spotting & sum time heavy bleeding was continue since the time of last D&E(19-03-2010) & nxt months periods were also not according to my usual routine, therefore, now (12-05-2010) she prescribed me diane-35 ... (though i hv a problem of hypothyroid but with the help of continue&regular medicine(thyroxine) the TSH level is mentained very well since the past 3/4 yrs)... all the fertility tests (of both the partners) seem clear...my doctors cudnt find the reason behind these missed abortions yet... is there anyone who can guide me 2 the right way 2 cope-up with the problem?.....

You have also mentioned that other fertility tests of both of you are normal. I suggest you continue with your thyroid treatment .Do thyroids tests regularly & be in touch with your doctor to see if the dosage needs to be adjusted .Since you are having irregular bleeding since you r D& E , it would be prudent do get a pelvic scan done.Now after 2 abortions in one year, I suggest you do not became pregnant for another 6 months.take multivitamine tablets to recoup. When you think of trying again you will require pre-conceptional treatment in the form of Ecosprin & Folic acid tablets for 3 months. Only after that you should try to get pregnant. Please consult your doctor as treatment cannot be done online.To find the cause of missed abortions you may go in for tests like LA - Lupus anticoagulat,ACL - anticardiolipin antibody, which will find any immunological cause for it.Use contraceptive for 4 months & then start the Ecosprin & Folic asid tab for 3 months atleast.Hope that answers your query.
