4 weeks late and having pinkish discharge.

	hi, im 4 weeks late and already took 3 hpt..came out negative. i always have a regular cycle of 26-28 days....3 days ago i saw a size of a quarter of a red discharge and thought that was the start of my period but it didnt last too long..there are times when i pee that i see a pinkish discharge on the tissue when i wipe it. i sometimes feel nausious but no vomiting. could i be pregnant with these signs?

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Sat 23, May 2009 09:46am: Hello, Yes these canbe the early symptoms of pregnancy.I would suggest a serum HCG test and an ultrasound uterus to confirm the status of pregnancy.If it is ruled out,then causes of delayed periods like hormonal imbalance,increased stress,eating disorder,increased smoking,alcohol or caffeine use,PCOS,fibroid,polyps and endometriosis have to be probed.
