	hello my name is Preeti.On 31st march 10 I had a cesearen and I delieverd a boy at 4.35 pm and I lost him after 1 hour i jsut want to know what happens to my baby please help me to know that PLEASE .I had for a doppler on 29th march 10 and according to it the gestational age is 35wks 1days.Below is the summery: Study show a singal live featus in breech presentation at present. Fetal cardiac activity seen under real time examination and apper noraml.Reduced fetal tone and movements. Amneotic fluid is MARKEDLY REDUCED WITH A.V.I of 2.0 cm. fetal wt:2.83kg placenta is anterior and in upper segment.Placenta maturity is grade -"2" EVALUATION OF FETAL ABDOMEN, REVEALS WELL DEFINED CYSTIC MASSES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ABDOMEN THE ONE ON THE LEFT IS VISUALISED IN THE PARA SPINAL REGION MEASURES 79x55mm AND IS CAUSING ANTERO LATERAL DISPLACEMENT OF LEFT KIDNEY.MASS SEEN IN THE RIGHT PARA SPINAL REGION MEASURES 70x45mm CAUSING POSTERIOR DISPLACEMENT OF THE RIGHT KIDNEY. BOTH KIDNEYS SHOWS MILD DILATATIONS OF THE PELVI CALCEL SYSTEM.FETAL STOMACH,LIVER,GALL BLADDER AND URINARY BLADDER APPER NORMAL .After delievery according to the doctors his heart,liver,lungs all are damadged he was not breathing properly he did't cry at the time of birth.I am dying to know what hapeens to my baby PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE.

	Answer by Dr Veena, MD (doctor) on Sun 15, Aug 2010 03:41am: Hi, Amniotic fluid index is was very low in your case, this can lead to premature delivery, growth retardation, still birth etc. Also, there was indication in the scan report that tone and movements were reduced, that also indicates there was some problem with the fetus. After delivery if there was no cry and breathing was not established, that suggests poor APGAR score and poor prognosis for survival of the new born.
