First of all, I have had the IUD, mirena, since June '07. I recently wenttothe
doc because I was having pain in my lowr abdomen after sexualintercourse.I was
given a vaginal ultrasound and they took cultures to checkfor pregnancy or CVC.
The tests came back neg. for both, but the ER doc saidthe ultrasound showed the
mirena had moved into my cervix. I was prescribedpain meds and told to see my
OB on the following Monday. He said the mirenawasn't in my cervix and I wasn't
pregnant. I am now taking meds for infectionand pain meds, but Iam still
feeling movements in my stomach like a babykicking. My husband has also felt it
when he places his hands on my lowerstomach. If I'm not pregnant, then what is
wrong with me because it's driving mecrazy?
And to answer your other questions, no I do not have trouble passingstool or
urine. The movements sometimes lasts a couple minutes or longer whenlying down.
It ranges from movements right above my vaginal region (lowerstomach) to my
sides of my stomach on occasion. It really feels the same way aswhen I was
pregnant with my daughter. First it kinda felt like flutters, butthen it
progressed to me placing my hand on my stomach while lying down andfeeling
something kinda kick at me. I also feel movements in my stomach when Iam
sitting down, too. I know it cannot be psychological because my husbandfeels
it, too, but with the tests being negative for pregnancy I really do notknow
what is causing it all these months. Please help me!
