Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but your symptoms are suggestive of drug induced
gastritis or peptic ulcers or pancreatitis. The leg and feet pain don’t seem to be related to bloating of
stomach but can be due to arthritis.
Gastritis is usually after eating a heavy fatty meal and sedentary lifestyle. It can also be caused by
drinking too much alcohol, prolonged use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin or
ibuprofen, or infection with bacteria such as Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori).
Eat small nutritious meals at frequent intervals instead of a heavy single meal. Exercise frequently and take
your dinner atleast 2 hrs prior to bedtime. Also raise the head end of the bed by 2 blocks.
For now, pls take some antacid like Maalox and Mylanta or OTC medications like zantac or prilosec.
If the symptoms still persist then pls get serum amylase and serum lipase, upper GI endoscopy and ultrasound/CT
abdomen done to rule out peptic ulcers and pancreatitis.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
