Breast pain

	For the last 2 months, both my breasts have been very painful. I get sharp pains on and off all day long. I've had 3 children already and got my tubes tied, cut, and burned. I took a pregnancy test just in case and it was negative with no missed periods. I'm a 38DD and just wondering if the size could be a problem or if this could be a sign of breast cancer? Please help.

The other causes could be hormone replacement therapy, with advancing age due to intraductal pappiloma or mammary duct ectasia; birth control pills, mastitis, benign and malignant tumors. It is difficult to say what it is without examination. Physical examination and mammography can help making diagnosis. Consult a gynecologist for further assistance.
