Brown Vaginal Discharge

	I have had a brown vaginal discharge for the past 2 weeks. My last period ended Sept 14. I am taking Clomid to try to get pregnant. My pregnancy test came back negative last week. Should I be concerned about this discharge?

I can think of two most common causes for a brownish vaginal discharge, these are minimal abnormal uterine bleeding, and bacterial overgrowth known as bacterial vaginosis. Your intake of Clomid may play a factor in the development of these conditions as this drug manipulates the female hormones. I would suggest that you have this evaluated by your gynecologist and run some diagnostics such as that of trans vaginal ultrasound or a Potassium hydroxide test. Regards and God bless.
