Can you get pregnant during the sugar pill week of birth control pills?

	I understand that the birth control pill method is not 100%. Aside from that, can you get pregnant during the week of your sugar pills? I don't start my period until 3 days after I start the sugar pills. Is it ok to have sex during those days without extra protection? Please advise. Thanks.

Are there other signs or symptoms present? A pregnancy test will help rule out pregnancy. However, itis important that you visit your doctor for further evaluation and possible confirmation. Almost all urine pregnancy tests will give you accurate results if you test at around the time your period would normally be due or about two weeks after you ovulate.
