Confused

	Hi, i had an abortion early feburary and my period was normal last month but after a week or so of my period ending i started to randomly bleed this only lasted for two days after that everytime i went for a wee as i wiped there would be little spots of light blood on the tissue? what could this be?

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Fri 15, May 2009 07:05am: Hello, It can be intermenstrual bleeding.Causes are pregnancy,cervical polyps,genital infections, uterine fibroids,miscarriage after a pregnancy,ectopic pregnancy,fluctuation in hormone levels,IUD(intrauterine device)use,use of anticoagulant drugs and hypothyroidism.Pls get yourself evaluated by a gynecologist as pelvic examination and investigations are required to confirm a diagnosis.
