Could I be pregnant? Missed 2 pills

	I have been feeling different lately, there is some tenderness in my brest mostly at night time, there is some tenderness in my stomach and back. I have been really tired, finding it hard to get up in the morning, this is not normal for me. I have had to go back to bed for a few hours. Foods have been tasting different to me, I liked donair sauce, but last time I ate it I was not impressed, it tasted like maple. Same thing with Macoroni and Cheese and coffee. I am more sensitive to smells also. I need to urinate much more than usual, and I feel bloated and gained 4 pounds.I am on Birth Control but I missed 2 at the beginning of my pack. I would like to know what are the chances of me being pregnant?

	Answer by Dr Rowena S, MD (doctor) on Thu 21, May 2009 04:10am: Hi, If 2 pills were missed in the first two weeks, it is usually advised that you take two pills on the day you remember and two pills the next day. A backup form of birth control for one week is also recommended. The chances of getting pregnant will depend if you have regular ovulation, usually on the 14th day of the cycle, and the exact time you missed the pills. If it falls in this period, the chances will be high. Checking with a pregnancy test may also help determine if pregnant or not. Take care and regards.
