Could I still be pregnant?

	I had the novasure procedure carried out in September 2008 and the consultant told me that he had left about 5% of the lining in the uterus. I had the procedure carried out because I had prolonged periods. I also have fibroids in the uterus and did have until a scan in January 2009 a cyst on one of my ovaries. I have now missed a period and have pregnancy symptoms, e.g. frequent trips to the toilet, nausea, swollen breasts, darkening of the nipples, tiredness etc but have carried out 3 pregnancy tests and they are all showing negative. Can you advise if I am likely to be pregnant but perhaps the fibroids have something to do with the test results showing negative?

Usually it is done in patient’s who have completed their family. After the procedure, it may lighten or stop your periods. Side effects include cramping, nausea, vomiting, discharge, and spotting.
