HELP!!!!! UTI? Stess? PREGNANT????

	Please help! I usually have really heavy periods ( I use 'Super Plus' tampons & change them regularly). This month, my period came (I'm not really sure if it was on time, it comes w/in the same week, but I don't know a day) probably on time, I had it somewhat heavy, much lighter than usual (still using 'Plus' tampons, but did not need too change them nearly as much). It was like this for about 2 days then I had unprotected sex with my fiance and the next day IT IS GONE 100%. My period usually lasts at least 7-9 days. It has NEVER stopped early or gotten light early. I RARELY get cramps or any discomfort during my period and this time around I have had such terrible stomach and abdominal pains, discomfort and cramps. My breasts are enlarged and sore (which happens most times with my period, so not freaking out there too much). I stopped taking birth control about 1.5yrs ago. Didn't have any problems afterward. I am also having symptoms of UTI; Urinary Track Infection (out of nowhere). Is there ANY CHANCE I COULD BE PREGNANT? Am I just stressed out? IS it just UTI? PLEASE HELP! I'm NOT looking to have a baby right now..

	Answer by Dr Vinod, MBBS,FcGP  (doctor) on Sat 23, May 2009 04:38pm: Dear lolfa, Urinary tract infections the symptoms are increase in frequency of urination and also burning urination with fever which has rigor and chills. If you do not have these symptoms you do not have UTI, you can visit a physician and have your urine checked, cultured etc. If you want to have a baby, as you have discontinued pills, do not use any other forms of contraception and intercourse during the 10th to 18th day of your period for some months would help you.
