	Hello I have servere cramping, but no period. I am over due by 1 week. I bleed when I have sex also. My face has broken out in pimples and I am very irritable. Please can you explain what the hell is going on with me.

	Answer by Dr Venkatesh P (doctor) on Thu 13, Jan 2011 06:09am: Hi, bleeding after the intercourse, the causes could be injuries to the vaginal wall, infections can be a cause of vaginal bleeding after intercourse, lowered levels of estrogen may cause lining of the vagina to become thinned and easily inflamed or infected which can cause bleeding, anatomical lesions such as tumors or polyps on the cervix or vaginal wall may lead to vaginal bleeding during or after the intercourse.
