	Hi, doctor, i am 36yrs who wanted to be a mom, yet after several check up with and my husband, he had a sperm analysis count about 47,500,000/ml which according to laboratory about 60,000,000/ml is the normal. Our OB prescribe Proviron 25mg for my husband for 90days,my husband take in the med, without a doubt since she's a certified OB. my question is, Is it really help so i can be pregnant, or is there any other solution to the problem? this is for your reference, treatment to me through ultra-sound my left and right ovary are normal even my uterus. Is has an effect that my husband and i are driving? that somebody says sperm and egg cell gets weak through car engine.

	Answer by Dr Smita Sarwan (doctor) on Sun 27, Feb 2011 08:05pm: Hi, Your husband has low sperm count but it does not mean that you can't be pregnant. It is only that chances of pregnancy are low. You must keep trying to conceive. Proviron 25mg is a medicine which helps in low count of sperms. It may cause pro creation of sperms. You must detect your ovulation day by test kits or ultrasound and have coitus around them to be more successful for pregnancy. Hope it helps. Take care and keep posting.
