	Hi Doctor, i am a 25 yr old unmarried woman. i had my second abortion in July 2009,1st with 2+1 medicine course,but still there were tissues left in and then i got the surgical one done. Since then my periods happen twice a month and each go on for a minimum of 6 days.When i am not mensurating, i get these heavy discharges which are curdy and smelly and sometimes itchy. also sometimes after an intercourse i bleed,may a few drops and then it stops. Can you advice me what exactly could it be. Is it something bad? Regards Sharmishtha

	Answer by Dr Veena, MD (doctor) on Wed 23, Sep 2009 04:40am: Hi, Curdy, foul smelling vaginal discharge accompanied by itching, bleeding and dyspareunia could be due to STD’s or candidiasis. Frequent periods could be due to endometriosis, hormonal imbalances or due to STD’s. I would recommend that you visit a OB/GYN specialist for pelvic examination and blood work for confirmation of the cause. Best.
