How early can I take a hpt?

	Hi I had my period on the 24 of march with a difference of 24 days from my period before that. My husband and I are ttc. We have had relations every day since. How long do I have to wait to test. What day can I test on. What are my chances of conceiving. The only other thing I have experienced this month is an absence of cervical fluid. Can that be caused from the prenatal vitamens. I feel wet but no mucos.

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Mon 27, Apr 2009 10:58pm: Hello, Since you had your last menstrual period on 24th march,I would suggest you to wait for your next periods i.e 24th april and if you miss them then pls get a urine for pregnancy test done after 1 week of your missed periods date. I’ll also suggest you an obstetric ultrasonography, which can pick up the pregnancy in the first 4 ½ weeks of pregnancy in case you miss your periods.The dryness can be due to hormonal changes.
