	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Sun 14, Sep 2008 06:38pm: Hi, No, it’s not possible to get pregnant within a day or two after getting the abortion procedure as during the abortion the inner lining of the uterus is shed off and this takes some time to develop. The inner lining is very important as it is the place where the zygote (formed after the union of the sperm & ovum) gets embedded and gets its nourishment from. I sincerely hope that helped.
