I WANT TO KNOW IF I COULD BE PREGNANT

	hi for last 2 months my period has been light brown and short and just the other day my breast started to lactate but i am on the pill and everytime i take the pill now i feel sick could i be pregnant ?

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Sun 25, Jan 2009 06:33pm: Hello, Spotting,amenorrhea, breast changes like tenderness, enlargement and secretion,nausea and vomiting are common side effects of the birth control pill(yasmin).Try shifting to some other brand of pills and see if the same happens. As a general rule, your chances of getting pregnant are the highest if you miss birth control pills that contain hormones (often called “active” pills) just as you are starting or ending that part of your pill pack.So if you had missed any of the pills and had intercourse ,then you can be pregnant.
