I had Chlamydia and im not sure if it turned into PID... now im trying to get pregnant

	hi i had a case chlamydia and i think it turned into PID... but i got it all treated but im not sure if i caught the PID early on... and now i want to get pregnant... this was about 3 years ago and i have no signs of any of it coming back... and the last time i saw my Dr. he said everything was fine, but that was just a pap smear check up... can a pap smear show signs of having PID? i was also just wondering can i still get pregnant if i had PID one time???

However the incidence varies depending upon the age of the patient and severity of disease. A pap smear can help in diagnosing cervical infections and these infections if untreated can result in PID.
