	I had my period on the 31st July and took the morning after pill on the 5th of August and had another period on the 12th to 14th August. I have all the signs when I'm about to menstrate. Am I pregnant as I'm very worried I may be.

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Wed 08, Sep 2010 08:12pm: Hello, From the symptoms since you had morning after pill on 5 th august which corresponds to 6th day of your menstrual cycle, so chances of pregnancy are less. This bleeding can be due to intermenstrual bleeding. It can be due to genital infections or cervical polyps (benign growths on the cervix). Other causes may be may be uterine fibroids, miscarriage after a pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, fluctuation in hormone levels and hypothyroidism. Please get yourself evaluated by a gynecologist as pelvic examination and investigations are required to confirm a diagnosis. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and regards.
