	I have been having stomach cramps off and on for the past week or so, also going to the toilet to pass solids more frequently and on occasions I have felt sick when having the cramps

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Tue 05, May 2009 05:47am: Hello, The symptoms are suggestive of some GI infection or irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).Common symptoms of IBS include abdominal cramping or pain, bloating and gassiness, and altered bowel habits(alternate constipation and loose stools).I would suggest a gastroenterologist’s evaluation for this.
