Hi.
Pregnancy is indeed a possibility, but still too early to tell. What can be happening is called implantation
bleeding, where in the fertilized ovum implants itself in the lining of the uterus, and this can cause some
form of bleeding. The bleeding associated with implantation is typically minimal and should not last more
than a couple of days.
Seven to 10 days from implantation, you may already be tested positive for pregnancy through standard urine
kits.
But again, it is still early to jump to conclusions but the possibility is there. The most common cause for
menstrual irregularities is still abberant hormonal fluctuations which is the rule rather than the exception
in the cycling of menses.
Regards.
