	I need urgent assistance please. My fiance and I are trying to conceive a baby but have had no success. I was on the contraceptive Nordette for about 4 years. 5 Months ago I stopped the pill. I have not seen my menstrual cycle for the last 3 months. My doctor prescribed provera tablets for me, but nothing has happened. He also put me on folic acid tablets. I have already taken 4 pregnancy tests and they come out negative. I even considered doing an ovulation test but can't because I have not had my menstrual cycle. Please kindly assist as I do not know what to do anymore.

Temporary infertility and disruption of cycles could be observed for a few months (3-6 months) after discontinuing Nordette. There is no need to worry, continue medicines by your doctor; you will soon have your cycles. Hope this helps. Take care.
