I think I might be pregnant as im 3 weeks late!!

	I think I might be pregnant as im 3 weeks late. I have been using clomid the past 3 months, dec 08, jan 09 and feb 09 on days 2-5 of my period. Up until now ive been having a 28 day cycle whilst ive been taking clomid. Ive done 3 pregnanct tests but they have all been negative.

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Thu 16, Apr 2009 11:35pm: Hello, I would recommend a gynecologist’s evaluation,serum HCG levels and an ultrasound uterus for checking the status of pregnancy.Although Clomid is used mainly in female infertility due to anovulation like in PCOS,I feel that it is important to find out the cause of infertility.Then treating that cause will help out more.In addition to ultrasound,pls get done other tests like blood insulin levels, serum testosterone and androgen levels.Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
