It is not possible to have regular periods and become pregnant. Menstruation happens when the lining of the
uterus is shed off indicating that there is no implantation. However, implantation bleeding is usually
mistaken for a period. At this point, have a pregnancy test and have this evaluated further if the result
shows positive. In cases of ectopic pregnancy, implantation occurs in other locations such as the fallopian
tube, not on the uterus.
