i went to the toilet this morning to find i had come on my period. i am usually very heavy for the first few days of my
period, but this is unusually light. it is also a brown colour as oppossed to the dark red i usually experience. what does
this mean?!
my last period was around 14th-19th april and was completly normal. in the early hours of the morning of the 25th april i had
both protected and unprotected sex. i went to the sexual health clinic as soon as possible, which unfortuately wasnt until
the 27th, approximately 64hours after the sexual encounter. i took the morning after pill slightly crushed, as i was unable
to swallow it whole. since then i have had protected sex once, on the 1st of may.
i lost my virginity at the end of 2008, it was unprotected and i took the morning after pill the day after. since then i have
had 2 other sexual partners. the first of which was mid-february, and was protected (although after i was a few weeks late
for my next period and had to take a pregnancy test, the result was negative)
i am due back at the clinic on the 18th may for STI tests and a pregnancy test as the morning after pill was taken well into
the 72hour time-slot. until this morning i wasnt too concerned, but now i am confused as to what this means.
