hi, i m sobia shabbir from pakistan. i got married 4 years ago but not yet any kid. i have done many medical tests. all the tests are ok but one is not. i m phospholipid antibody positive. i concieved 6 times of which first two were abortion in 7th week, thired was actopic and last three were missed abortions(D&c). MEDICATION. tab. aspirin, inj. clexene 20mg(low dose Heparin), inj. ivf,tab.Duphaston, tab.Clomid etc. last D&C done in Sep.2008 then we did gap about 8 months. now we are attempting but not yet concieved. My husband is my firt cusion. he is o+ve and me b+ve. i m taking tab.Loprin(asprin)OD since last 5 months and Tab.Glucophage 500mg b.i.d since 1 month . i m very worried. plz help me out.

Hi, Antiphospholipid syndrome is known to cause recurrent miscarriages and hence you’re suffering from the problem. I’ll suggest using a combination of low dose aspirin and low dose heparin as that increases the chances of pregnancy more than using aspirin alone. Your treating doctor has also prescribed metformin which suggests you might be suffering from polycystic ovary disease also resulting in inability to ovulate and thus pregnancy.
