I am 29 years old and have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months. I normally have a VERY heavy period each month. I
typically have to change my tampon every 2-3 hours, even overnight. I have been charting my BBT as well. On Friday, I was 10
days past ovulation, and started bleeding. At first it seemed like a normal period. By Saturday morning, the bleeding was
much lighter, only requiring a pad. Now (Sunday) the bleeding is still much lighter than normal. I have read online that
implantation bleeding is normally just spotting, but I am wondering if a woman that normally has excessively heavy periods
could have heavier implantation bleeding due to a thicker uterine lining. My BBT has remained elevated, only dropping .2
degrees yesterday, then jumping back up .6 degrees today. It is still well above the "coverline." Should I take a
pregnancy test or just wait it out? I have NEVER had a period this light in my life!
