	Will a home pregnancy test tell me I'm pregnant after only 2 weeks or would I have to b farther along, and would my stomache b showing

	Answer by Dr. Malathesh K (doctor) on Thu 12, Feb 2009 11:27am: No, home pregnancy test will not rule out the pregnancy as early as 2 weeks nor there will be any physical signs and symptoms in 2 weeks of pregnancy. Since hCG levels do not rise immediately, depending on how early you are in your pregnancy, a home pregnancy test can show a negative result even though you may actually be pregnant. Ideally, a home pregnancy test should be performed seven to ten days after missing your period in order to ensure a minimal amount of false negative tests.
