	Sounds strange that I'm aware of this, but I felt something that seemed like a small, hard "knot"/bump on my actual cervix (on one side). No pain or other symptoms otherwise. I have appt for routine PAP later this month with my Ob/Gyn.

But direct clinical examination is needed to reach a definite diagnosis. The cause may be attributed to an abnormal response to increased levels of estrogen, chronic inflammation or clogged blood vessels in the cervix.
