Stomach Cramps

	I have been having stomach cramps off and on for the past week or so, also going to the toilet to pass solids more frequently and on occasions I have felt sick when having the cramps. could i be pregnant? I am on the pill and have been for 5 years.

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Thu 30, Apr 2009 11:20am: Hello, I don’t think that these are the symptoms of pregnancy and moreover you are on birth control pills.It can be due to irritable bowel syndrome.I would suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist and get IBS ruled out.
