Vaginal discharge

	I am a 24 year old female. I have a history of abnormal pap smears and have had the leep procedure done twice due to cervical cancer cells. I am now expericening a mucus like blood tinged discharge for the past few days. I am not pregnant as I have had my tubes tide last year after my second baby. What could it be this time?

Common causes include disorders of the reproductive organs, injuries, changes in the normal hormonal control of ovulation (called dysfunctional uterine bleeding), and other hormonal disorders. Examination of vaginal discharge under the microscope or a pap smear may help in reaching a diagnosis. With your medical history, it would be best to have this evaluated further by your gynecologist.
