	Well I usally start my period around the 31st-6th and in april i dont remember when i started but my period ended april 6th or 7th and 10 days after it stopped i had unprotected sex and ive never really started my period right on the 10th before but i actually did and had a 5day period and i bled like crazy ive never bled that much before while having a period and now my periods gone but i still get cramps at times and its kinda weird i also go to the bathroom wayyy too much so im kinda confused am i pregnant or whats going on?

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Wed 27, May 2009 05:08am: Hello, The first possibility is of miscarriage after a pregnancy.I would suggest a serum HCG test to confirm the status of pregnancy/miscarriage.The other possibilities in the absence of pregnancy are uterine fibroids, ectopic pregnancy,fluctuation in hormone levels,IUD(intrauterine device)use and hypothyroidism.Pls consult a gynecologist and discuss these possibilities with her.
