	i have had tender nipples but when i squeezed this clear liquid is coming out from one breast but not its gone

	Answer by Dr Rowena S, MD (doctor) on Mon 09, Mar 2009 05:48pm: Nipple discharge may result if the breasts are stimulated. This physiologic reaction may eventually resolve. Other causes may include: breast infection, abscess, medication use, hormonal imbalance, injury, pregnancy and other breast conditions. It is recommended that you avoid nipple stimulation because this makes the discharge persist. If it still recurs, have this evaluated further to rule out the differentials mentioned.
