can you get a women with irregular periods pregnant while not ovulating

	my wife has irregular periods and her cycl lenth is 64 days and we have been trying to get pregnant for the last year and we have not accomplished our goal yet, can you give me any idea how to get pregnant with irregular periods and can you get pregnant without ovulating?

Ovulation is a mandatory event that should occur in order to conceive a child. ovulation releases the egg cell of the woman into the tubes where it would meet with the male sperm. The first step in resolving this is to establish if the irregular cycles is ovulatory or anovulatory. This can be confirmed by tests done by your gynecologist. To some extent, laparoscopic (minor surgery) evaluation of the ovaries during the expected time of ovulation is warranted, to see if ovarian follicles are maturing or if ovulation is indeed about to take place. Consultation with fertility doctors can also offer more options and explanations. There are drugs to induce ovulation if indeed your wife is anovulatory. Regards and God bless.
