	hey.i had irregular period last 2 cycle.this time i have my period,i want to use clomid,can i start it on the third day?and when can get ovule ??thxx

	Answer by Dr Sanjivani Wanjari (doctor) on Fri 10, Sep 2010 10:20am: HI, you want a pregnancy, have you done other tests like testing of the fallopian tubes & semen analysis. Only then it is advisable to take clomid, that too under medical supervision. Excessive use will lead to depletion of ovarian reserve. Once you start clomid on the 3rd day , you will require serial monitoring with ultrasound, to find out when the ovulation occurs. You need to consult a gynaecologist, who can guide you .
