	Can you please tell me if it is possible to conceive on day 27 of a 29 day cycle and to then have that period as normal?

Ovulation is the release of a single, mature egg from a follicle that developed in the ovary. It usually occurs regularly, around day 14 of a 28-day menstrual cycle. Intercourse 2 days before periods will not result in pregnancy as right before your periods the uterine endometrial lining has already been sloughed off the uterus.
