Hello,
Although your symptoms are definitely of pregnancy, but confirmation can only be done after urine for pregnancy
test/blood test and ultrasound uterus.
Most chemical tests for pregnancy look for the presence of the beta subunit of hCG or human chorionic
gonadotropin in the urine. hCG can be detected in urine after implantation of zygote in the wall of the uterus
formed by the union of the sperm & the ovum, which occurs six to twelve days after fertilization. But
occasionally there are false negative or false positive results.Although you can do urine for pregnancy
test(UPT)but it can come out negative if you are doing it too early.Ideally UPT should be done after a missed
period.
So my advice would be to wait for the missed period and then do UPT.However, you can go in for blood human
chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) hormone test, which is more reliable and becomes positive about 10 or so days
after ovulation.
Hope this helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
