depo injection

	hi i had my first depo injection yesterday after getting my period back after i hadnt had one for 4 months i finaly got it back and had been bleeding for four weeks and decided 2 get the depo injection but as soon as i had it done i had no period and still havent today am i still protected from pregnancy or should i be worried?

After 24 hours, the shot is effective for the next 13 weeks. Some side effects that can be observed are: weight gain, irregular, heavy or no bleeding, headaches, mood changes, bloating, hot flashes, decreased interest in sex, breast tenderness, acne, hair loss, and back ache.
