depo provera and pregnancy

	I started Depo Provera on the 7th of April and I started it two days after my period had ended. I took a pregnancy test and was able to get the shot, I was also a virgin. Me and my boyfriend has sex on the 16th and on the 23rd with a condom. On the 24th we did not have one and wanted to have sex. I preformed oral sex on him and after he ejaculated and all the cum was gone we had sex.. he did not ejaculate inside me. If i was to be on my normal cycle i would start this week, i have had really bad cramping and have felt horny which are normally my signs of my period but have not started yet. The last time i started was March 31st. I'm wondering what my chances are of being pregnant and if the depo could have kicked my period back a week or make it stop completely even though this is my first shot.

Let me tell you that a very common side effect of Depo Provera is scanty bleeding, no bleeding or irregular cycles. This usually increases with a longer priod of use. So, in this case your chances of being pregnant seem to be almost remote. I would suggest you to visit your doc. If the problem continues, you might have to discontinue Provera and may have to shift to some other drug for contraception. Best wishes.
