	dear doctor i am pregnant . my last period was at 5 septtember 2009. but im writing to you because i have an terrible headache. i dont know what to take please help me . i am very worried about this. please prescribe me a gel for my head or an medicine. thank you . i impatiently wait for your answer. romina

You are right to be cautious in taking any drug during pregnancy. This is because not all drugs are safe at this time. But over-the-counter pain relievers like Paracetamol is safe to take. Cold compress and determination of the headache triggers will also help. If you know what starts your headache, you can avoid them in the future so that headache will not occur.
