	hi, yesterday i had a medical abortion. i left the hospital still technically pregnant as i had not passed the tissue yet. i was not in any pain, just mild cramping like i get on the first day of my period, i went out for a family dinner last night and went to the bathroom, i then passed quite a large clot but was still in no pain, just the cramps. When i was getting ready for bed i changed my sanitary towel and there was a medium sized clot on that with parts of it slightly greyish. is this the pregnancy passing or am i still pregnant?

	Comments: Comment by Priya on Fri 10, Dec 2010 09:37am: Hi i am feared whether i am Pregnent we are recently married 2months back we are not planned for kids right now.t happens almost at the 13 day.Can you suggest.My period is at 25th nov.Please help me Comment by anonymous22 on Sun 15, May 2011 10:46am: i had my 2nd dose for medical abortion today. i was given 4 misoprostol pills to have orally. within 5 minutes of having the pills, i started getting painful cramps but nothing i couldn't handle as i had a painkiller along with the pills as prescribed. within an hour of having the pills i passed an inch diameter bloodclot along with a little bit of grey tissue. after than i had very small blood clots, but no tissue. 3 hours later my pain subsided and nausea went away. i'm still bleeding more than usual. i want to know if this means that my abortion has been successful. Comment by on Sun 15, May 2011 10:26pm: To know whether your abortion has been successful, you need to get an ultrasound done which can confirm whether it is a complete abortion or not. If it is an incomplete abortion then you may need a D+C.
