Apparently im healthy but i cant seem to get pregnant. its been 7 months since my miscarriage and it feels like im cant get pregnant again. there have been a couple periods that have been late so i take a test after my expected period date which is negative of course but it still takes days til i get my period and when i do its usually more painful than normal with blood clots. if everything is normal i dont get why i would have this problem. I cant help but think it was another miscarriage even tho the test was neg. when i was pregnant the first time it only showed positive when i was 5 weeks, which i dont get either. my cycles now are usually 35 or 36 days and they used to be 30. What could cause this other than maybe another miscarriage? Is it possible i have had other miscarriages even with a neg test cuz if im as healthy as the doctor says then i cant think of any other reasons why im not pregnant again. Please help me with this crisis cuz i dont have a real doctor to go to

Answer by Dr Rowena S, MD (doctor) on Thu 25, Jun 2009 03:39pm:

Hi, The changes in your cycle could be due to changes in your hormone levels. It is really hard to suffer a miscarriage but you can get pregnant again. There are symptoms that you should watch out for in this condition such as lower back pain, blood clots and cramping, and of course an increased level of the hormone B HCG. In these cases, it is important to have regular consult with gynecologist for proper monitoring and management and to rule out any underlying cause, if present. Take care and best regards.
