i am on the contraception patch but took it off last saturday and still no period... i run like cloc

	i am on the contraception patch but took it off last saturday and still no period... i run like clockwork and 4-5 days after i take it off i come on but still no sign. i took a pregancy test 3 days ago and it came back negative but could i still be pregnant or will it be something else? i am not under any stress either.

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Mon 31, Aug 2009 10:42am: Hi, I’ll suggest you to repeat the pregnancy test again and if it’s negative again then it could be due to delayed periods and a search for the cause of the same has to be looked for. It’s usually due to the hormonal changes only. I think your periods should come if the repeat pregnancy test is negative. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
