	i have been using Yasmin for sometime now.In july i was away from my husband so after i saw my period I didnt bother taking any pills until I came back home. However we had sex like two days and I never got my pills till two days after that during this time my nipples were very sore to touch.I did bleed like my period a day or two after which would have been the same time I saw my last period so I was cool...I took two pills just to be sure for two days and then one after...i have been bleeding for almost two weeks now am beginning to get worried...the bleeding stopped and we had sex only to see I started bleeding again.We haven't done anything since and now I have noticed my breast are a bit heavy and a white light discharge from my left breast when I squeeze. Do you think I may have a problem? or be pregnant?is this normal?

	Answer by Dr.Bhumika Aggarwal (doctor) on Thu 02, Sep 2010 07:50pm: Hi, This spotting / bleeding could be due to several causes - it could be due to implantation bleeding secondary to pregnancy if you are sexually active - a urine pregnancy test and a blood test for beta HCG levels would help confirm or rule this out, hormonal changes, thyroid disorders, etc. Or it could be due to vaginal infection, and in some cases this could mean a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. The only way to know the confirmed cause is a clinical examination by an OBG specialist and an ultrasound examination and tests to rule out an infection.
