However a woman can be pregnant throughout 30 days in a month according to new studies. Ovulation occurs usually around 12-14 days after start of cycle. However sperm can stay inside you for 72 hours. You must try conceiving around 10-18 days of your cycle. Gender of the baby cannot be decided before birth.
