pregnacy in risck because of anxiety medication - answer

Hello, As you are pregnant so pls inform your doctor and stop clonazepam and Trileptal under his guidance.Clonazepam is assumed to be capable of causing an increased risk of congenital abnormalities when administered to a pregnant woman during the first trimester. Oxycarbazepine(Trileptal)is closely related structurally to carbamazepine, which is considered to be teratogenic in humans, although there are no adequate and well-controlled clinical studies of Trileptal in pregnant women. Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
