	my clitoris has inverted inside and will not pop out. it is painful when trying to be arroused. been about 6 mo. 52 yrs old total hyster. 25 yrs ago no kids. embarassed to tell husband or Dr.tried pushing on sides to pop out-won't work, hurts put vaseline on it

This may also be caused by hormonal changes that you are experiencing in this stage of pre/menopause. The presence of pain and ineffectiveness of manual stimulation may warrant further evaluation by a specialist. A gynecologist is pretty familiar with these things, so do not be embarrassed about this. With pelvic examination, the underlying cause can be determined and the management can be made.
