	my last period was the 20 to 25october i had an eptopic pregnancey in 2008 but have the feeling am pregnant can that happen

	Answer by Dr Shipra Sharma (doctor) on Wed 08, Dec 2010 04:16pm: Hi, welcome to the forum. After ectopic pregnancy, there is about a 50% risk of infertility, and about a 20% recurrence rate. Therefore, if you are suspecting a pregnancy, first confirm it by a urine test or blood test. Once pregnancy is confirmed you should be evaluated very early on in a subsequent pregnancy to confirm that the pregnancy is within the uterus, and not ectopic (outside of the uterus).
