	my name is jyothirmayee,29yrsold expecting a second baby.AM A PHYSICAL THERAPIST.I AM JUST FINISHING MY 1ST TRIMESTER.I HAVE SEVERE MORNING SICKNESS AND SEVERE CONSTIPATION.PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO COME OVER CONSTIPATION.AM HAVING HOT MILK,HOT WATER,ROTI,ALMONDS ETC BUT NOTHING IS REALLY HELPING.PLEASE HELP ME

Pharmacotherapy with antiemetics can be used such as Meclizine or Promethazine can be used for severe and intractable symptoms on your doctors advice will be of great help to you. Adverse effects to the human foetus have not been reported; however, Meclizine and Promethazine are not recommended for routine use in pregnancy. Again for constipation under your doctors supervision, you can take bulking agent like psyllium, stool softner such as docusate are safe in pregnancy. Hope this helps. Take care.
